IoT ENGINEER
We are looking for an experienced IoT Engineer to develop our next generation IoT devices.You are responsible for architecting the IoT device solutions using sensor technology, camera and motion analysis, data communications etc. You need to design, prototype and lead through production phases.
REQUIREMENTS
- IoT device development experience from initiation to production.
- Should have exposure on embedded devices like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Beagle board etc.
- Knowledge of all types of sensors, Xbee, Bluetooth, Wifi
- Design and implementation of solutions to support IoT projects
- Communication Protocols: Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC Classic, OPC DA, OPC UA, IEC standards
- Develop embedded software to collect and process data from sensors. Extract, transform, and filter as required for sending to cloud servers via constrained RF links.
- Support the Operations Team in deployment and launch of device endpoints.
- Support the Systems Engineering Team in optimizing system operation, performance, and scaling.
- Experience of AWS IoT Platform, GCP Cloud IoT Core, Azure IoT, Stream Analysis, and Time Series Databases is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required
- Good understanding of CAN bus, Modbus, I2C, DNP, WIFI, Bluetooth protocols is highly desirable.
- Experience in embedded device programming using Python, MicroPython, Java, or C/C++ is a plus
- Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
- Ability to work independently while integrating into a team
